In designing this hardware profile, we made decisions to achieve a balance between being faithful to the original design of the MS-20ic, and using its panel creatively to make the most of it for controlling Omnisphere. Open your host ( DAW, Standalone, etc.) and make sure the MIDI interface you’ve connected the MS20ic to is enabled as a MIDI input device. ![]() ![]() Refer to Korg’s statement regarding Catalina/Big Sur compatibility on their website here. ![]() If you are using an incompatible macOS, connect the Korg using the MIDI DIN connector and skip the driver altogether to connect to Omnisphere. NOTE: Korg’s USB- MIDI Driver is not compatible with macOS Catalina or later. Download and install the Korg USB MIDI driver from Korg’s website here.Activate the Korg MS-20ic Hardware Profile in Omnisphere 2.6 or higher.Make certain your MIDI interface is configured as the input in the host software you’re using ( DAW, Standalone, etc.).Connect the Korg MS-20ic to the computer via USB.For more information refer to Korg’s website.
